Panart Second Generation For Sale

Greetings Folks

Im new to the site, Im a Panart Hang player and ive owned my Second Generation since 2008 . I made the trip to Bern to get it and after many years of respectful playing but financial crisis im going to sell it. I really hate EBAY so im trying to reach out to people who are Hang/Handpan players.

Im not even sure if you allow people to advertise the sale of Panart Hang on here so if im doing the wrong thing I apologise in advance.

Im based in Manchester UK and am happy to share pics and vids with anyone who is interested in the Hang.

Thanks

G

Re: Panart Second Generation For Sale

Hey, genesis.

Welcome!  No worries at all - have at it.

Second generation Hang, and in the UK too.  If I had a full piggy bank, I'd be taking a hammer to it right about now.  :D

Sorry you're having to sell it due to financial crisis, but hopefully the sale will raise a good amount towards your needs.

Do you happen to have a video at all?  I'd love to hear it.  :)

Re: Panart Second Generation For Sale

Thank you

Heres a rather cheesey vid from a few years ago taken by an obvious camera fanatic...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN1igKbfIwA

I will also post a vid from a month or so ago . Its just a short vid of the full tone circle being played slowly. I did it to for a chap to help test if it was still in good tuning. And it is. Its in excellent condition.

I purchased The Panart Anti corrosive Cleaning set and protective shell with bag that are also provided with the Hang on purchase.

Heres my Hang in action on the Gnod & White Hills album , Dropout.

Hello from Sophie, Germany :)

I am 21 years old, and the first time i fell in love with an instrument was the Hang.
But i couldn't find a place to buy my own one- until now!

Is it still there?

Looks and sounds like a beauty. :)

Two things.  While there are no particular rules for selling on this site, you may or may not know, that there are a HUGE amount of scam offers for these instruments on-line, and while I like to think my gut can spot one a mile off now, and my spider-senses definitely aren't tingling here.  If you could find your way to posting a picture of the instrument next to a piece of paper with the current date - for me that just clears all doubts up from the start - and saves people from having to play too much cat and mouse trying to figure out if everything's above board.

Secondly, there's no rule in place that says you have to give a public price, you've put your contact details up, and people can get more details that way, and that's cool.  But if you're happy to give some idea here of what you're hoping to sell it for, that would be good too.

Good luck with the sale.

Re: Panart Second Generation For Sale

Sure thing, Im aware that there are a huge amount of scams out there involving Hang.

This is not one. Price wise, i wont lie, im looking for a above £3700. I have been offered this recently and turned it down. Im not selling this baby lightly and the funds are needed to help with long term life project. I have seen Hang go for up to $12000 on ebay in the past which is just crazy, I dont do ebay , in fact I disagree with the Ebay ethic but this Hang is the only thing I own worth anything and i feel i have used it as much as I can to the best of my ability. Its time to move on and move forward.

Thank you for your understanding and allowing me to post on this site.

People are welcome to come and play and stay at my place if they are serious about owning this Hang, i have an open door.

Re: Panart Second Generation For Sale

Thanks, genesis.  That's great.  All seems good, and fair, and open to me.

I'm having to use every ounce of my will power not to buy it myself. :D

Best wishes in your future endeavour. :)

Sorry you had to part with your hang but I have a proposition for you.
Im from Manchester but live up in chorley now. Im about to be the proud owner of a new Orbipan Scale#4 and will be looking for a new home and fair price for my Sunpan Spanish Gypsy G3.
I love playing to my very limited ability and self teaching is quite limiting for me not being a natural musician I guess.
The proposition is that maybe we can share some time sharing my Orbi while I pick up some tuition and playing tips from you. Who knows.. maybe a new mate each :-)
