The $15,000.00 Halo - La Sirena in F tuning (2014)

To date, we're pretty sure that this is the highest price ever paid for any HandPan - over at eBay for sure - which most likely means anywhere, ever.  

This Christmas eBay Halo from Pantheon Steel ended on December the 19th, with a closing price of bang-on fifteen thousand dollars.  



What does a fifteen thousand dollar HandPan sound like?  Take a listen below...



OK, so like most of you (presumably), the price made this one far out of our reach.  But it has to be said - that ^ is one tasty sounding instrument.

Please forgive me if I am mistaken.  I believe a PANArt Hijaz scale was sold on eBay for $16,000.00 several years ago.

Could be so.  I don't personally remember seeing that one, but it wouldn't surprise me - those PANArts in Hijaz are very sweet (and sought after).
